“After Perfect” behind-the-scenes photos!

Yesterday, we filmed “After Perfect” (Film #4, for those of you keeping score) in my friend Tawse’s Upper East Side apartment (thanks, Tawse!). The building has a nifty history; apparently, it was once owned by Arthur Miller, and large portions of The Seven-Year Itch were filmed there. It was cool to make our own small contribution to the place’s cinematic history.
This was another cozy shoot in a small, hot Manhattan apartment, but for those of us who survived “Sublet,” it was breezy and easy. James Creque, taking the director’s chair for the first time on 12in12, kept things moving ahead at a lively pace, and we actually wrapped the shoot ahead of schedule — which has never before been done in the history of filmmaking.*
Hopefully, the photos below will give you a little taste of how the day was spent. Video to follow! “After Perfect” will be posted on Friday, June 26th.

Actor Mike Lavoie (in costume), PA James Fauvell, and director James Creque cool off between takes in the building's main hallway.
*This is a slight exaggeration. There’s one guy in Hollywood who does it.
