The Core Four takes a hit

It pains me to report that Robb Stey, who did such a fantastic job designing this blog and coordinating our promotional efforts (and was the cinematographer on “Old Love”), has had to take a step back from this project for the foreseeable future. In addition to his full-time job, Robb has embarked on a top-secret mission of his own, which he has requested we do not mention on this website. (Those of you who have read this blog entry in its original form, please erase the knowledge from your minds, and kill anyone you may have told.) This hectic schedule leaves Robb unable to contribute as much as we (or he) would like to 12in12. He’s still watching over the blog like a mother hen (it’s his chick, after all), and we still pester him with technical questions every now and again, but he’s not able to be a day-to-day presence like he was in the beginning. And he is missed.
One of the challenges of low-budget filmmaking is that, since we can’t really afford to pay people what they’re worth, we sometimes have to watch them move on to more lucrative endeavors — especially if they’re paying New York rent. Robb is hoping that he’ll be able to re-involve himself at some point later in the summer; until then, we wish him all the best, and we leave him with this one helpful multitasking tip: put some Adderall in the gin.
