We are pleased to announce that we have been invited down to Fort Lauderdale, FL to screen the first semester of 12in12 at the historic Cinema Paradiso! The screening is the centerpiece of the Summer Cinema Fundraiser for Student34.org, a charitable organization that helps financially troubled third and fourth year college students complete their degrees.
It is a wonderful foundation that we truly believe in and since 99.89% of our readers do NOT live in FL, we invite you to DONATE to the cause. If you have gotten any enjoyment out of semester one, please give a couple of bucks. It can be less than $10 – you can click on any circle and change the donation amount!
For the .11% of you who DO live in Fort Lauderdale area – come on down! Tickets are $25 and in addition to semester one, we’ll be screening Orchid Man, Queen Bee as well as the WORLD PREMIERE of Film #7: The Proposal. Oh yeah, and some Q&A. Should be fun!
Turns out that other things happen in Fort Lauderdale besides getting zapped forward in time, undergoing invasive testing procedures and meeting a talking spaceship named Max. Who knew?!?
