It Appears We’ve Hitched Our Wagons to a Star!

Last Friday, as “Moving Pictures” was making its way out into the world, Mike Lavoie was checking out the week’s new movie trailers WHEN HE SHOULD HAVE BEEN WORKING, and he came across an intriguing film called It’s Complicated, starring Meryl Streep, Alec Baldwin, Steve Martin, John Krasinski, and Oh my God is that Caitlin FitzGerald?
It was. It is. My “Moving Pictures” costar, the delightful actress who attended one of our first 12in12 production meetings, the woman we affectionately know as “Fitz,” is prominently featured in the trailer for a major motion picture coming out this Christmas. Check it out!
I could totally take John Krasinski.
The serendipity of this trailer’s being released on the very same day that we premiered “Moving Pictures” tempts me to believe in some kind of guardian angel of film. We’re proud and excited for Fitz, and thrilled that we got to work with her before her meteroic rise to stardom takes her out of our reach forever.
Note the infinitely better chemistry.
Also, I’m kind of excited to see the movie. It looks pretty darn good.
