After 9 films, we are still flying by the seat of our pants around 12in12 HQ! Not much of the remaining films is locked down; all of our usual suspects for composers left town this week, so for #10, posting tomorrow AM, we have Thomas Sullivan (Who scored The Proposal) in Portland, OR doing what he can today on his laptop while sitting around before and after a wedding.
For Film 11, shooting this Saturday, we have a GUEST DIRECTOR flying in to direct it (his name, as well as cast announcement soon!) — and that will be written, almost Queen Bee style, all day tomorrow by the combined forces of Keith, myself and the Mystery Director.
And Film 12 is completely unwritten as well — HOWEVER, what we do know is that it will feature the return of Art the Jogger! When our trip to Fort Lauderdale was postponed, the folks at Student34.org were kind enough to let us keep the remaining balance on our JetBlue tickets and so the disappointment of that occasion paved and paid the way for Arthur Chan to return to the open arms and open lenses of the 12in12 family he left so long ago.
Art, your couch awaits.
I’ll make sure to wash your jogger outfit.
