Yesterday, Mike and I were chatting about the “meaning” or the “upshot” of this project — a silly thing to do before it’s all over, but also one of the ways we keep our heads above water — when a sudden realization struck me.  It may seem trivial to an outside observer, but it hit me with the force of a small epiphany.

Mike and I have now made more movies together than we’ve made apart.

Whatever else 12in12 might mean, it does mean that.  And maybe that isn’t such a small thing.
